To child

She's learning to snuggle

:carrot :banana :carrot :banana
I often don't post about our sleep problems, honestly I don't see the point, I've heard and read too many times just to suck it up and it will get better that I feel it's pointless and in my extreme sleep deprived state that just makes it worse but anyway......

Twice last night I was able to just snuggle dd back to sleep :) So I only nursed I think 4 times last night. Now I slept worse because I could move even less and I was terrified of her waking even more, but I feel it's progress.

I need to nightwean her, I need more sleep, I need her to sleep more. I don't want to stop co-sleeping but am totally stuck.
Anyway I wanted to share my small bit of success :)

Hi Eman's mom, I'm glad that you feel you are progressing, it is hard to get used to the whole snuggle thing at night, my baby is only three months old, but when she first arrived I had her in the crook of my arm all night and it can be a little uncomfortable, but u get used to it. Now I can turn her over to my other side periodically and she wont wake up, but still in my arms. Maybe you could get your husband to hold her to sleep sometimes? My baby will fall asleep in her swing at around 3 in the morning I put her in it because she is awake and I want to sleep. Sleep deprivation i think is one of the most challenging things in having a child, because you don't get the energy to deal with the other stuff. Hang in there, try to take naps....good luck
