Ok my niples have started to hurt and my doctor said that it was an infection that you get on your nipples when you tend to start weaning your baby. But the thing is im not weanin her and she is only 6 months(ont he 28th) so i have quit a while left to BF her. So i have been putting the Lanisohn cream on it and thats not helping to numb it or anything, plus i am takinga pill that he perscribed to me to take. Plus on top of that, my DD has a yeast infection in her mouth and an ear infection. Whic is making me mad cuz i am a very clean person and everything is spotless and cleaned. Doe anyone have any suggestions or if they have had it befor what have they done?? My friend said to mix apple cider and vinegar togther and put them on it but i dont know about that one. Please any advice. It is killing me to nurse and its getting to the point that i need to stop cuz of the pain but dont want to stop cuz i love to nurse my DD. She loves being with me. Please a little help. PLEASE!~!~! :blah  :help :idea :crying :3bfkid: :fbbf

Your doctor didn't tell you that you have thrush? Because that's what it sounds like, especially since your daughter has it. You have to treat yourself AND baby if either one of you has it. What pill did he give you? If it was Diflucan then 1 pill isn't nearly enough.
What is your doctor treating your daughter's thrush with? Nystatin? Just be aware that Nystatin is in a sugar-base, something that yeast thrives on. You might have better luck with some OTC treatments such as Gentian Violet or Grapefruit Seed Extract.
Try putting some OTC antifungal cream like Lotrimin on your nipples in between feedings - that should help them feel better right away. You don't need to wipe it off between feedings unless you can actually see it on your nipples when it's time to nurse. And then if you see some, just gently wipe it off with a wet washcloth.
Personally, this is how I treat thrush (everyone has their own line of defense, so what works for one person may not work so effectively with the next):
30 drops of concentrated Grapefruit Seed Extract (Grapefruit Seed Extract) in 1 ounce of water -- use it to swab nipples off after each feeding, let nipples air dry or use hair dryer on them.
Take acidophilus and give acidophilus powder to my nursling 1x-2x/day.
Take odorless garlic tablets (3/day).
If it's really bad thrush then I'll swab my nursling's mouth with Gentian Violet. But it's much too harsh for my nipples so I stick with the GSE.
Here's a good page on thrush:
You'll want to treat yourself & baby for two weeks past the disappearance of symptoms.
All that said -- I'd find a new doctor. He's apparently clueless! Good luck to you!
ETA: Your friend sounds like she knows what she's talking about - some people do use vinegar to swab their nipples off after feedings. It's quite effective against thrush.
Also, since your dd is on antibiotics, that's probably where she got the thrush from. It's always a good idea to take a daily probiotic (acidophilus) but it's especially important to take one while on antibiotics to keep the intestinal flora levels balanced.

:yeah:
And definitely look into a new doc, As soon as I read that DD has a yeast infection, I thought thrush. How did your dr not think of that? Good luck!

Yup, I agree!Couldn't have said it better!
Your doctor is whack:nut
