Travel Potty to keep in Car?
I read in a past thread that someone keeps a travel potty in the car for "emergencies" or when you can't find a decent bathroom.
This seems like a good idea, but there are dozens of potty chairs on the market. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good one.
Thanks!

i keep a baby bjorn little potty (the small one, not the larger one with the 'insert') in the back of the car. it used to be our downstairs potty, but i just recently put a potty insert on our downstairs toilet so that dd can go directly on the toilet.
i also have the 'potette', which is small and collapsible but i haven't used it.

I have a baby bjorn little potty in the car also but have not found a way to dispose of the contents until I get home. In this hot weather that can mean a very stinky car.

I also keep a baby bjorn in the car and I also try to keep a few plastic bags w/it so if they need to poop, I line the potty w/ a bag and tie it up until I can get to a bathroom, if it's just pee, I empty it in some woods or other area that people won't be walking. I found it amazingly helpful when DS was potty training as there were times that we went places that didn't have 'public restrooms' and they weren't sympathetic about a child needing to go.

We LOOOOVE our Fisher-Price On The Go Potty. Paid $30 or $40 for it but it has a carry bag and you put a little trash bag in it and throw a breastpad in it and it soaks up the pee and you tie it and find a trashcan. Its sooo simple. I just love how it folds up and I can carry it into a store or something without people noticing lol.. Its def. worth the money!!! It also has a pocket on the front for extra clothes (at least thats what we used it for).

With my son, we just used the nearest available tree :bag:
