Share your vegetarian WW recipes

It's the new year and I'm tackling those extra pounds that suddenly showed up last year when I turned 40! :duck: While I've got tons of vegetarian cook books and even a vegetarian Weight Watchers book (not real exciting recipes), I want to know what other WW mamas are cooking up!

^_^:
I am interested in this too, I need to lose around 30 pounds!

I dont to WW but I just wanted to offer my advice-if you dont mind. :o
I gained almost 40 pounds in my pregnancy and now that my babe is 6 months old I am thinner than I was before I had him. PLUS the weight is still coming off. Here is what I did:
-I cut sugar from my diet. I am not talking ketchup or anything crazy like that but I stopped buying muffins at the cafe and eating dessert. I cheated once or twice but I was really dilligent about avoiding sugar. I even threw all the sugar out that we had in our house so that I wouldnt be tempted to make baked goods with it.
-I cut my portion sizes in half. I had no idea that i was eating WAY too much. Even though I was eating healthy food there is still a portion limit.
-I went on long walks with my baby every day and didnt have any time to sit around. I got right up in the morning and cleaned house with him in the carrier. Than after his morning nap we would be out walking around town and exploring. We would end our walk with a trip to the local cafe for tea.
-I limited wheat. Started eating less bread and tried to add other whole grains to my diet in the place of wheat.
-Stopped eating dairy. It is really heavy and fattening.
Good luck! It takes work thats for sure.

Great advice Vermontgirl. I'm interested in what other veggie mama's do also. I did WW for awhile, and I find it hard because they allow sugar.....hard for me. Because I can't stop at a little sugar. Just speaking for myself.

Yup, I know I have a portion size problem. That usually stems from me eating so fast because I'm trying to stuff food in while in between watching DS. I just don't have a lot of time to sit down and enjoy it so I think I end up eating more because I am just trying to get it in fast, so I eat too much before I know I'm full.
I really want to do the walks again too. It has been raining here so I haven't gotten out, and it still is but I think I'm going to go for a walk anyway when DS wakes up from his nap.

Very interested in this thread. I am predominantly veg, lost 50 lbs. on WW...then gained back 45 lbs. :( Back on the wagon again, looking for ideas.
