"Want to touch my booby?"
My 4 yr old says this to me sometimes....He likes to touch it while he winds down to sleep. I have no idea why, but I also dont have an issue with it-it seems fine to me...Sometimes we have whole conversations about how he is touching his booby, and do I want to? and "I like to touch my booby." :lol:shrug:
But what I wonder is-Do I need to talk to him about it? I am afraid of him saying it in front of someone other than me, like grandma, or someone at school, or even daddy, and having them react strangley towards him. kwim? I dont want him to feel bad about it, but i cant control the other peoples reactions.

At 4, if he says it in front of others it is just cute. Don't worry about it.

Lol, my ds is exactly the same! Partly my fault I'm sure because I absolutely cannot stand that whole nipple twiddling thing that nursing toddlers like to do so I taught ds to twiddle his own nipple instead.:o:lol Anyway, he still can't fall asleep any other way and he's almost 5. He does refer to his nipples by a very random and bizarre sounding name that developed when he was 10 months old and asked to nurse with that word. So we're in a position where he'll talk about it a lot but no-one has a clue what he's on about.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. I think it's adorable!
